Day 1: Upon arrival at the airport transfer to your hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2: After breakfast, visit the Cathedral of Palermo and Monreale, and orientation tour of the old town. Lunch on your own. In the afternoon enjoy the ”Puppets show”, one of the most famous and popular Sicilian traditions, performed in an old Palermitan Puppets theatre. Dinner at the restaurant. Overnight.
Day 3: After breakfast , visit the Puppets Museum of Palermo. Later in the morning enjoy the 
scenic drive up to Mount Pellegrino, where you will visit the cave of Santa Rosalia, the Patron Saint of Palermo. Have a typical meal in a “Trattoria”. Return to Palermo. Tonight dinner on your own.Overnight.
Day 4: After breakfast drive across nice hilly sceneries.Pass by the natural Pergusa lake, where according to the myth, wad abducted Demeter’s daughter, Persephone. Stop in Piazza Armerina, where you will visit one of the most outstanding ancient Roman Villas, covered of mosaic floors, featuring marvellous mythological scenes ( Hercules, Orpheus, etc.). Lunch in a beautiful Sicilian “masseria”(f
armhouse). Arrival in Catania. Dinner. Overnight.
Day 5: After breakfast, departure for Mount Etna, the highest volcano in Europe and “the forges” of the god
Hephaistos. Arrival at the cable car station ( 5.700 feet). Depending on the weather conditions, possibility of taking a walk on the cold lava rivers. Lunch on your own. In the afternoon on the way back to Catania, stop in the typical fishing village of Acitrezza, where you can see the so-called “Faraglioni”, the famous lava rocks that according to the myth, were hurled by the giant Polyphemus against Ulysses,who had blinded him by thrusting a sharp piece of wood into his only eye. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6: After breakfast, spend the last day in Taormina, the most beautiful resort town in Sicily!Visit the Greek-Roman theatre and enjoy the town on your own for the last shopping sprees.Lunch on your own. Tonight enjoy Sicilian folk music in a typical trattoria: lively music is the best to end with a flourish!
Day 7: After breakfast transfer to the airport.
